Any physical pet damage repairs require some sort of cutting and repairing that section.
What sort of Things needed for pet damaged carpet repair
This requires some identical extra carpet, which could be found in your furnace room, or in the garage. Please check your house to make sure you have the extra carpet. Most people have some leftover carpet from the installation. If the damage is done by a dog, most likely the dog got trapped inside the room, and tried to escape, causing a severe carpet rip including the underlay. We can supply the underlay.
OK, I don’t have any extra carpet, Now What?
1️⃣ So you don’t have any extra carpet, then we can take some from a closet corner
2️⃣ The damaged area is bigger then a closet, then you have to order some from a carpet shop
3️⃣ We might have a small piece something similar, and we can use it, or patch the closet
4️⃣ If everything else fails, we are afraid you might have to replace the carpet.
Where can I get the carpet?
Take a small piece from the damaged area and heat to Deerfoot Carpet. They might be able to find you something.
