What Happens When Carpets Get Flood / Water Damage

Needed to have a piece of carpet padding replaced & carpet stretched as had a water tank leak which got part of the carpet wet. I had hired a restoration company initially to dry the areas that was impacted, they were going to fix the padding area & reset part of carpet but were charging a lot to get this done.
