🐾 Damaged Carpet / Pet Damage
Pet damage, torn carpet, burns, bleach spots and other localized damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire carpet.

What I Need to See
Please send:
- One close-up photo showing the damage clearly.
- One wider photo showing the damage and the surrounding carpet.
- Let me know whether you have any matching leftover carpet.
- Your community or area.
No Matching Carpet?
That’s often not a problem.
For many repairs, a matching piece of carpet can be taken from a closet or another less-visible area. The donor area can then be replaced with a similar carpet.
Every repair is different, so send me the photos first and I’ll let you know what options are available.
📐 Carpet Stretching / Wrinkled Carpet

Wrinkles, ripples and loose carpet usually do not require additional carpet.
What I do need is a good view of the entire room or affected area.
What I Need to See
Please send:
- A wide-angle photo from each corner of the room, if possible.
- Photos showing the entire carpeted area, including walls, doorways and furniture.
- Your community or area.
Don’t Just Photograph the Wrinkle
A close-up of the wrinkle doesn’t show me how the carpet is installed or how the room is laid out.
Seeing the entire room helps me determine how the carpet can be properly stretched and whether furniture or other obstacles may affect the job.
💧 Flood / Water-Damaged Carpet

If your carpet has been affected by a leak, flooding or another water problem, I need to see the whole affected area, not only the wet spot.
What I Need to See
Please send:
- Wide-angle photos showing the entire affected room or area.
- A closer photo of the affected carpet.
- Tell me whether the carpet has already been lifted.
- Tell me whether the underlay is still in place, wet, removed, or you’re not sure.
- Briefly tell me what caused the water damage.
- Your community or area.
Before Removing More Carpet or Underlay
If possible, don’t cut or remove additional carpet or underlay before contacting me.
Send me photos of the current situation first. Removing materials unnecessarily can sometimes make a repair more complicated.
Once I see what you’re dealing with, I can tell you what I recommend.
🔧 Something Else?

Not every carpet problem fits neatly into one category.
I also deal with carpet damage caused by renovations, damaged seams and transitions, burns, bleach marks, pulled carpet, damaged edges and many other repair situations.
Send me:
- One close-up
- One wide-angle photo
- A short explanation of what happened
- Your community or area
I’ll take a look and let you know whether it’s something I can help with.
Why Photos Matter
A close-up shows me what is damaged.
A wide-angle photo shows me how it can be repaired.
Sending both from the beginning means fewer questions back and forth and helps me give you useful advice faster.
