This is a fine example of how we repair berber snags.
In this case the seam was done poorly and the threads were caught up with the vacuum. Creating an eye sore, and devalued home. At some point they were thinking replacing the carpet.
They had lots of carpet leftovers from the installation. I was able to cut the damaged area and replaced it with a good piece.
The new seam is permanent and more durable than the old fashioned iron seam. I don’t even consider that old technology as a repair or installation media.
